Britannica Education

Dear Partners,

We’re thrilled to share that the high school level of Britannica School is getting a fresh new look in the new year! These updates are designed to enhance the user experience while maintaining the same trusted, high-quality content Britannica is known for.

Here’s what’s coming:

  • Redesigned Homepage: A more engaging and visually appealing interface for easier navigation.
  • Revamped Article Layouts: Featuring enhanced visuals, intuitive buttons, and information organized into bulleted lists interspersed with fun facts for improved digestibility. An OpenDyslexic font option will also be available for accessibility.
  • Enhanced Navigator Tool: Based on your feedback, the new navigator design consolidates all features into a single panel, addressing prior concerns about the tool being confusing for students who didn’t realize there were multiple panels to navigate across. This streamlined design will launch at the high school level and will soon after be updated across the elementary and middle school levels.

While we’re still finalizing the exact launch date, you can expect these new features in late January to early February 2025. To support you in communicating these exciting changes, we will provide:

  • Messaging and Presentation Slides that highlight the new features.
  • A Webinar Hosted by Our Professional Learning Team to explore the updates and their benefits in-depth.

Many of these improvements are a direct result of the valuable feedback you shared, and it’s a testament to the strength of our partnership.

Your input is truly appreciated and vital in shaping Britannica resources to better serve educators and students. We’re excited about these changes and the value they’ll bring to students and educators alike.

Thank you for your continued partnership!
